Print - Mr. Redlegs Statue
This marker drawing is of the Mr. Redlegs statue at Findlay Market. From the Cincinnati Enquirer: “Mr. Redlegs, the first Reds mascot with the old-timey mustache and pillbox cap, made his debut in March 1953.” He sports the uniform of the Red Stockings, dating back to 1869. This will be featured in my upcoming Over-the-Rhine book, expected ready by Memorial Day.
This print is on high quality pure cellulose watercolor paper with bright whites and a distinct, coarsely textured surface. Paper made by Hahnemuhle.
I will be mailing prints first class through USPS, so you can expect a 1-5 day turnaround from when I’m able to get to the post office.
